Coding is my passion, hobby, challenge and profession. My programming journey started thanks to my curiosity of understanding the “magic” behind video games. I was ready to start making my own virtual worlds, systems and rules. It has been a challenging and hard road, but I have enjoyed every step of this path.
I have been coding since 2011. On 2013 I started my studies at Full Sail University under the Game Development Bachelor of Science program and graduated on June of 2015. Four months after graduation, I landed my first job in the industry with Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, where I worked as a Unity 3D engineer in the PS4 exclusive Title Drawn to Death!
My strongest (and favorite) language is C++,along with C#. After having a solid foundation, experimentation becomes a fun hobby: The whole virtual world is open; it just takes some research and patience to be successful.
I have hands-on experience with:
- Programming languages and shading languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, HLSL, GLSL, Cg.
- APIs and SDKs: DirectX 11/12, OpenGL, WebGL, Win32
- Tools and Engines: Unity, UE4, GameMaker, Virtual Reality Development (HTC Vive)
Being involved with my community is a very important part of my life. I received a lot of help and guidance from active students and neighbors when I arrived to the states for the first time. This is a demonstration of a strong community and I want to support its development and improvement. During my studies, I have been an officer of the International Student Society, starting as the Event Manager Coordinator and advancing to Vice-President of the club. I am also an active member of the community volunteering organization called Pure Motivation, participating in different events benefiting the Orlando community.
